# Countdown popup creation

Use Countdown popup to display your offers with a countdown! It's a proven fact that offers with a countdown are more attractive and even more effective.
To start the creation of a Subscription form, you should click on **"Insert Subscription Popup"** button in your editor page.(arrow on the left)

On the right side of the page you'll see a bar of your **Subscription element options**. (arrow on the right)

# How to use the element as a Countdown? | Content

* To use the element as a **Countdown**, you should select the **"Count down to date"** option in the **Countdown Element Options**.

* Select the **Date** for the countdown and choose the proper **Timezone** for it.

This format of the Countdown popup element is useful for specifying some events on your site, that are available for specified period, till a certain date. 
The Countdown popup will show the countdown of the specified date every time the users visit your site, until it comes to end.


# How to use the element as a Timer? | Content

* To use the element as a **Timer**, you should select the **"Repetitive Timer"** option in the **Countdown Element Options**.

* Specify the **Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds** for your timer.

This format of the Countdown popup element is useful for showing time-limited offers on your site to hurry your users to shop more.
The timer will count down from the same time every time you see the popup.
If you set the timer for 5 minutes, e.g., the popup will countdown from 5 minutes every time.

| All the fields of the countdown (both in Countdown and Timer modes) are available for localization, so you can change the texts to whatever you wish.
