# How to set up popup dismissal options?

In the **General** section of the Popup Maker editor (the left side of the page) you can set up the dismissal options of your popup.

**Allow Popup Dismissal** - First you need to check this option to enable popup dismissal

**Dismiss On ESC** - If this option is selected the popup will dismiss when a user clicks on the **ESC** key

**Dismiss On Overlay Click** - If this option is selected the popup will dismiss when a user clicks on the overlay of the popup

**Dismiss On Content Click** - If this option is selected the popup will dismiss when a user clicks on the content of the popup

**Auto Close** - With this option, you can set a time estimation (in seconds) after which the popup will automatically close
