# How to open a popup in case of Inactivity?

| **Before starting the setup of the opening events for your popup, it is assumed that you have already [embedded the popup](https://help.popupmaker.com/en/article/how-to-add-a-popup-to-your-custom-website-arp8an/) into your website, or [attached via the plugin](https://help.popupmaker.com/en/category/plugins-and-extensions-1s4euao/) you are using connected to Popup Maker service.**

In the **Events** section of the Popup Maker editor you can select the events on which your popup will open on your site.

# Inactivity

Set the amount of time (in seconds) after which the popup will appear if a user stays inactive on your site.
